Hello!
I am Puvessha Jegathisan.

I obtained a Masters of Psychology (Clinical) from Curtin University, Australia. I am a practicing clinical psychologist and academician with more than 10 years of experience. I am also a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology.
I am driven to bring societies and communities together in supporting the management of mental health conditions by removing the stigma surrounding mental illnesses. I am also actively involved in improving the mental health of refugees and asylum seekers in Malaysia. In addition to my clinical work, I also conduct workshops to increase awareness of mental health conditions and address the misconceptions that individuals with mental health issues often face within their communities.
I am a HRD Corp registered trainer, having conducted over 70 talks and workshops. I have vast experience both in Malaysia and Australia in managing psychological conditions using evidenced-based interventions within the clinical setting, non-governmental organisation, correctional department, academic institution and community.
I am currently chairing the Master of Clinical Psychology program in a leading private university and pursuing a PhD in Psychology.
